Your GTA Bridal Beauty Timeline: Hair, Makeup & Facials

By The Snip & Style Bridal Team

Wedding-day beauty is a project, not an appointment. The brides who look (and feel) most themselves are the ones who planned backwards from the date. Here’s the timeline we build with our GTA brides.

3–6 months out: colour & skin foundations

Lock in your colour direction early — balayage or highlights you love and can maintain. Start a regular facial cadence (we love a course of HydraFacials) so your skin peaks on the day, not the week after.

4–6 weeks out: the trials

Book your hair and makeup trial together, ideally with the accessories and a sense of your dress neckline. Bring inspiration photos and be honest about what feels like you — a trial is the time to adjust, not the morning of.

1–2 weeks out: final touches

Final colour gloss or root touch-up, brow shaping and tint, a lash lift or extensions, and a glow facial a few days before (not the morning of, so any redness settles). Avoid brand-new products or treatments this close to the day.

The morning of

Arrive with clean, dry, product-free hair unless told otherwise. Build in buffer time, eat something, and let your artists do what you trialled. Our bridal hair and makeup is designed to last from first photo to last dance — long-wearing, photo-tested, and unmistakably you.
